Report of the Day

Day one of the tour started with what can be said to be a bit of a blur for most, after arriving on Wednesday and having a bit of a session. But one guy who hit the ground running was mister consistent Paul H, who's 5 under par round of 41 took the top spot by three. A perfect start for Paul with four pars in the first four holes after that easing down to finish the front nine with 21.Three more pars on the back nine and no blobs contributed to his winning tally. Back in second was Woody who's  2 under par round was made up of a two 2's on the back nine. His score of 38 could have been so much better as he still managed four blobs. Third place went to Bez with an average front nine of fifteen points followed by an excellent 21 on the back nine, made up of 5 pars and a birdie. Blakey showed his rustiness from next to no golf working out in Bahrain by taking bottom spot on only 21 points. Four points after five holes got no better by the ninth with only nine points. slightly better back nine but 3 more blobs and a gross of 112 was not expected from a 13 handicap golfer.
