Our last event saw our lowest attendance since our 2nd ever event back in 2005. But for those who turned up the weather was decent for the end of November with some wearing short sleeves. The wet course played well with the greens being in excellent condition. Carry and pull trolleys only meant a bit wet underfoot but did not seem to stop the majority with some good scores. Over half the field in the 30's and 5 golfers breaking par with only 2 shots separating them. Alan and Rob both had welcome returns to a good score finishing 1 under par. The battle for second between Ian and Anthony saw Ian finish the stronger to capture 2nd spot but Anthony did enough to take the Division One OOM by 1 shot from Gez. But the winner on the day to round of an excellent season was Martin, who's 3 under par 39 took the honors on the day along with romping the Division Three OOM and the converted Grand Prix bundled in with both Division Three knockout competitions. I am sure the handicap committee will have a feast trying to sort out his 2020 handicap.
