Memory Lane:

Staverton Park is where it all started for WGGC. After a few planning events we embarked on our journey on March 5th 2005, not the best of starts for us as the event was snowed off after 12 holes. See here for some pictures of the event and here for the scoring after 9 holes. Our next visit was over 3 years later on October 11th 2008. We managed to complete 18 holes this time. The event was won by Craig W with an impressive 41 points (playing off 17 though) See here for the results and a report of the days activities here. We then again waited another 3 years before returning on November 12th 2011. This time it was the turn of Krys Jilks to take honours with only 2 golfers breaking par. The results are here and the report can be found here.
