Bromsgrove Back Then

A trip down memory lane, takes us back to May 2006 where Bromsgrove hosted our 10th event. It was our first venture over the boarder to Worcestershire. We looked a little different back then. 25 members of which 7 are no longer with us. We only had the Divisional OOM's and associated knockout competitions to go with match day stableford, captains combo and nearest the pins. A few individuals has lost some hair and added some pounds, and off course their handicaps looked somewhat different, with around 90% of golfers having improved with some drastic reductions. (See left for how individuals have faired over the years)

* The match day in question started off on a happy note with the Birth of Jim C youngest child Charlie the day before.

* Committee member Andy Whittaker was christened "Willow Whitt"  before he blossomed into Woody a couple of years later. (Is it back to back wins?)

* Steve W is the most improved now ten shots worse off and he only score 28 points back then, what will August 2010 bring.
