Its been 5 years since Rob Ward was crowned "The bandit" for his 49 then 47 point hall's way back in 2007. But his performance though not as good as them was probably more rewarding. The last time he broke par was back in 2009 and that was only by 1 point, so long overdue. Rob took the first prize by a clear 5 points, his reward was a 3 shot cut down to 25 still 4 shots short of his best handicap back in 2008. James Little took 2nd place with 40 points. Its the first time for 16 months since James broke par so like Rob well overdue a good round. His 40 point hall was not without incident with Chris Shaw's leg taking the full force of a miss hit fairway shot to the green (See picture right)

Our lowest handicapper and only single figure golfer Paul N continues to chip away at his handicap with a 1 under par round or 39 points. 12 pars and a birdie is good golf in anyone's book, only a 6 on the par three 8th was his only negative of a good day at the office. Dave B (Blakey) continues to find life without a job is good for your golf, with an other round under par, his 4th one of the season. His 4 birdies and 5 pars were dented with with 2 blobs that stopped him challenging Rob for top spot. We again had another all round set of good scores with no fewer than 12 golfers breaking par. We adjusted the SSS to a par of 70 from 72
