                                               Handicap Changes after today here

A torrential downpour 30 minutes before we were due to tee off and period showers during the day made for difficult conditions on top of a course that possessed plenty anyway. On top of this as we experienced last year the greens were in excellent condition and very quick which required plenty of attention. Only one third of the field managed to finish with a score starting with a three, and only two golfers broke par. Karl had a welcome return to form with a decent 31 helped by a five pointer on the fourth hole. James H again had a solid round finishing in fifth place made up of six pars and three birdies. Chris S saw his back problems behind him with 32 based on a solid front nine. Forth place went to Anthony who posted 33 which should have been better when on the green for two on the 14th but realized he had played the wrong ball with his second shot (DQ). Third place went to Jason C who's 35 points should have been far better after reaching the halfway point with 22 points. Unfortunately three blobs on the back nine put paid to him winning. Second place and an excellent round was Craig. His 37 points was generally solid all but back to back blobs on the fifth and sixth holes. But the winner by three was Paresh who carded an excellent 40 points. His round consisted of seven pars, one birdie and only one blob.
