Handicap Changes after today here

-

Our wettest golf day for a decade went well considering the poring rain. We have been lucky quite a few times this year but unfortunately our luck ran out. But saying that the scores were exceptionally good with over two thirds of the field breaking thirty. (Admittedly over the slightly shorter winter blue tees) Fifth spot went to an even par Anthony H who had a welcome return to form. Fourth spot was the captain leaving his best score of the season to the last event, almost emulating his win on the last day last season. Jim ended up in third spot with a two under par thirty-eight. Walking off the 15th hole he must have though it was in the bag, (35 already) but only three points on the last three holes put paid to another a second match day win of the season. Second place and only one shot back from the winner went to James H grossing a score we can only dream of 74 gross (3 over par) fourteen pars and one birdie. (Wow) But the winner was Bez who’s back nine of 24 points came with 6 pars to end up with 40 points on the day. (with 2 blobs on the front nine) His win guided himself and Rob to the pair’s championship and left him short on countback of taking the Division 2 OOM which went to Jim with a very consistent season (The handicap committee are waiting in the wings)

Jamie looks like a champ Kirk smooth and easy Sean off to a good start Rob away
