Another great finish to the 2013 Wyder Cup. It went down to the 18th Green for 6 of the matches. So many individuals will be ruing that missed putt, stray drive or fluffed chip that would have changed the destiny of "Wyder Cup 14". 12 golfers where unbeaten over the weekend (see table on the right) helping their captains towards the 12 points that where required to take the win. Saturday saw the Blues take a slight lead in the doubles 4½ to 3½. The singles on Sunday are always the business end of any win and today was no exception. It went all the way with most matches have something to say as the afternoon progressed. The Reds came out on top on Sunday 8½ to 6½ taking it overall by a single points 12 to 11. So the Reds again open up a two point gap 8 to 6 and take the bragging rights into the 2013 season. I am sure the Blues will be back on foreign soil for "Wyder Cup 15". This year we are off to Marbella where they will be looking for revenge and the opportunity to close the gap. 20 golfers battle it out what I am sure will be another epic battle.
