AGM 2025

Our 2025 AGM took place Saturday January 4th 2025 at The Red Lion Public House.

Financials

  • Financial statement and spending analysis was presented by Pete and concurred by all committee members.

Handicap Review

 

The Committee reviewed all the handicaps in detail and made the following adjustments:

  • Jason Carroll reduced by 2.8 to 26.0

  • Andy Whittaker reduced by 1.3 to 24.0

  • Peter Barry reduced by 1.8 to 16.0

  • Sean Wynne reduced by 2.0 to 20.0

  • John Timson reduced by 1.5 to 20.5

  • Ian Hammond reduced by 2.5 to 30.0

  • Peter Shaw reduced by 1.3 to 19.0

  • Karl Blattner reduced by 1.3 to 20.0

  • Steve Whiston reduced by 0.3 to 16.8

  • John Howard increases by 2.0 to 42.0 (Playing capped at 44.0)

  • Dave Thompson increases by 0.9 to 14.0

  • Martin Fooks increases 0.7 to 19.5

  • James Heathcote increases 0.7 to 6.5

  • Mark Beswick increases 0.6 to 16.8

  • James Little increases 0.8 to 24.5

  • Grand Prix changes to NP points. Division 2 goes from 20 to 17 and Division 3 goes from 30 to 25.

AOB

  • Update the 4-ball skipper responsibilities to be update hand out cards & also collect them after the round.

  • 4-ball skipper to check local rules & communicate on 1st tee. Also provide a local course card.

  • Speed of play communication to go out on website

  • Launch of a new Monday Club - Pete to communicate & gauge interest
