In
light of the close competition results observed during last season’s
clubhouse events and match days, it has been decided that gimmes will
NOT be allowed for the 2024 season. This
change aims to ensure fairness for all participants and eliminate the
variation experienced in the past. The hope is that everyone will
support and embrace this improvement as we look forward to another
thrilling season.
In crude
terms, a layout with a course rating of 73.6, but a par of 72, would see
1.6 shots added to your Course Handicap.
A course with
a rating of 69.5, but a par of 70, would see half a shot taken from your
Course Handicap.
