AGM 2014

Our 2014/15 AGM meeting  took place on Sunday December 28th 2014 at the Devonshire Arms public house.

Handicap Reviews

The Committee reviewed all the handicaps in detail and felt that quite a few golfers needed some help as they are struggling to string together many decent scores, this coupled with some good performances by a few individuals, and a  couple of new members, has seen some changes around the leagues. Division One - 0 to 17, Division Two - 18 to 23 exact and Division Three - 23.1 to 28. Details shown below.

  • Paresh Patel to be cut by 2.9 to 18.0

  • Anthony Harding to be cut by 1.9 to 8.2

  • Howard Forrester to be cut by 1.7 to 21.2

  • Mark Nicholson to be cut by 1.1 to 17.0

  • Krys Jilks to be cut by 1.1 to 22.3

  • James Heathcote to be cut by 0.5 to 9.5

  • Chris Shaw to be cut by 0.3 to 19.5

  • Alan Thompson to be increased by 2.0 to 19.8

  • Jim Cunningham to be increased by 1.5 to 19.3

  • Steve Whiston to be increased by 1.5 to 14.9

  • Craig Whatsize to be increased by 1.4 to 13.2

  • James Little to be increased by 1.0 to 25.4

  • Graham Aulton to be increased by 0.5 to 19.5

  • John Howard to be increased by 1.0 to 20.0

  • Mark Beswick to be increased by 1.0 to 12.2

  • Dave Thompson to be increased by 1.0 to 15.5

  • Andy Whittaker to be increased by 0.9 to 22.9

  • Peter Shaw to be increased by 0.9 to 16.5

  • Dave Wiggett to be increased by 0.6 to 15.5

  • Pete Randle new member handicap of 28.0

  • Martin Fooks new member handicap of 21.0

Next handicap review is in July 2015 (after 5 events)

  • 35 Points for the match day winner

  • All Captains Combo points to be included for everyone

  • Additional 15 Points for each of the Nearest the Pins

  • Exclude guests

All other competitions remain unchanged.
